Peregrine can provide a range of Navy Certification and Accreditation (C&A) SMEs, from Fully Qualified Naval Validators (FQNV) to systems security engineers, as well as other C&A professionals who possess the years of Navy Information Assurance (IA) experience needed to ensure the success of this effort. In short, Peregrine is prepared to supply consultants on an as-needed basis with the expertise, organizational agility, knowledge, credentials, and experience to overcome the challenges associated with these efforts.
Although we’re a small business, Peregrine has supported large Navy IA tasks that included dispersed sites and extended cyber remediation periods. Specifically, Peregrine’s C&A experience includes planning and conducting C&A testing, preparing all required C&A documentation, and submitting the package for Navy CA risk determination and the Operational Designated Approval Authority (ODAA) accreditation decision. For example, in 2012 our staff served as the technical leads on a DOD IA C&A Process (DIACAP) effort for 22 Naval Fleet Replacement Squadrons at seven different Naval Air Stations. Over a one year time period, we visited each base at least three times and ensured that complete C&A packages were developed. In addition, we currently have senior IA personnel supporting NAVSUP, CNIC, and INSURV, all of which are in the Hampton Roads area.
