Peregrine is supporting the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA as a prime for the Digital Imaging Network Picture Archive and Communications System (DINPACS) Engineering effort. The purpose of this requirement is to provide contractor expertise in the area of Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) engineering. The services provided meet the requirements to support the Behavioral and Technical aspects of the enterprise PACS system located at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA and other regional branch clinics. Peregrine’s Team uses their superior skills in troubleshooting, training, workflow, medical technology, image acquisition, networks, computer operations and systems management to support this effort.
Team Peregrine also performs a wide range of high level professional and technical support in the engineering services of the PACS, on a day to day basis; assisting the government in the management and support of the system. Our staff is required to keep abreast of changes within the medical digital imaging industry and must obtain training (to include certifications) as required to ensure that the team can fully support Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in the implementation and use of system updates and upgrades and continue providing excellent results. Team Peregrine also works around the clock; providing services on an emergency needs basis, following the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth 365 days per year, 24 hours a day operation.
