Peregrine has an experienced IW Team – experts in Cyber Warfare and US DoD Cyber Security methodology, which translates into a low-risk, high-quality team that can get the job done. Peregrine is small and agile, but we are backed by an established corporate administrative group including human resources and contract support professionals, which allows us respond to our customers’ needs with the resources of a large corporation.   Peregrine’s president serves as the Chief Editor of the Journal of Information Warfare, a double-blind peer reviewed journal; the Program Director of the International Conference of Cyber Warfare and Security; and the Vice-Chair Working Group 9.10 – Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Uses in Peace and War.

Journal of Information Warfare

Peregrine owns and publishes the only double-blind, peer-reviewed academic journal on Information Warfare (IW) in the United States. Titled the “Journal of Information Warfare” (JIW), Peregrine has collaborated for over four years with the National Security Agency (NSA) to publish a special edition, and now Peregrine is collaborating with two DoE national labs on a similar effort.  The Journal of Information Warfare is a primary subscription resource for professionals with an interest in Information Warfare, offering access to the latest thinking in Information Operations from the military, government, industry, and educational perspective. Peregrine’s president, Dr. Leigh Armistead, serves as Chief Editor, helping to deliver high quality, highly technical papers on cutting edge IW and Cyber Warfare topics.

International Conference of Cyber Warfare and Security (ICCWS)

The International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ICCWS), held annually, offers a forum for academics, researchers, and practitioners working in this important field, whether at micro or macro levels. Peregrine serves as a sponsor of the conference. ICCWS provides a forum for discussion, exploration, and development of both theoretical and practical aspects of information warfare and security and a chance to network with others working and researching in this area. Dr. Armistead, the Peregrine’s president, helped found this conference in 2006 and remains firmly involved as the Program Director.
